the well-known XIIII sheets wall map in 1561), published by Francois
Halma in 1704. The same map appeared also in 'Thesaurus antiquitatum
Romanarum’ by Johann George Graevius, published in 1697 by F. Halma
and P. van der Aa. This very, very detailed map is crowded with the monuments
of Rome. There is a key (1 to 269) related to the image. |
