guarantee
All maps and prints in our catalogue are genuine antique items, printed and issued at or around the given date. Certificates of Authenticity will be provided for each individual item. We do not offer modern reproductions or copies of old maps. Catalog prices are in US. $. Payment  in other currencies is possible  via checkout or bank transfer. (please contact us for bank info). We will confirm receipt of your order and payment within 24 hours.

We do the utmost we can to give you as much information as possible about our maps and prints offered and try to make the clearest pictures possible. If you receive an item which you feel was not accurately described in our catalogue, please take a look at the return policy and/or contact us.     

terminology

Excellent :     Without any  traces of use 
Fine         :     Nearly excellent ( possibly traces of use of the margin)
Very Good:   A common imperfection on view of the age of the print like a minor all-over browning by age, some soiling of margins, a  minor restore of the margin or minor imperfections which do not disturb the impression of the print, like a  single very small  ink spot of the image caused by printing, a very thin  print fold or minor discoloring of the centre fold  etc. Minor imperfections  are described on the item's page.
Good: A small imperfection that does not disturb the  impression of the print like a small rust spot of the image, minor spotting, a small restored tear affecting the image a very bit etc. All imperfection will be noted within the description area of the items page.

Contemporary / old hand coloring :  Hand coloring is about the same age as the print.
Hand coloring  (later date):    Hand coloring is from a later date.  

All minor or major imperfections are clearly described. 

pictures 
We do the best we can to add clear and reliable pictures. Because of different configurations of monitors colors can appear a bit different on you screen. The sizes of the pictures are (most of the time) not the real print size. The real sizes are noted in the description.

We do permit use of all images for non-commercial  purpose or private study. We suggest to save any images used  on your own server  because images are removed after items are sold. We appreciate acknowledgement of their source.

payments
A flat shipping cost of $15.00 will automatically be added to your order by payment via secure checkout. (regardless the number of prints and country of destination)
Please order by email if you prefer to pay by bank transfer. We will contact you within 24 hours with all info needed to complete the transaction.
There is no cost for payment via secure checkout or bank transfer between EU countries. Cost for bank transfer from non-EU countries are at customers expense. 
All items offered in our catalogue remain our property until the moment of receipt of the complete payment.

shipment
Iscra ships worldwide. Prices do not include postage. We calculate a flat shipping cost of $ 15.00  regardless the number of prints or country of destination. This cost will be automatically added to your order. Transport-insurance is included.  Orders will be shipped by Registered Priority Airmail  ( unless instructed otherwise). FedEx shipment for low amount orders is possible on request;  please contact us about cost.  For high amount orders we will add FedEx courier service at our expense if required for safe delivery.
Orders from risky country countries will be individually judged. In exceptional cases Iscra has the right to cancel orders against a full refund of received payment.

return policy
If you feel an item is not in the condition stated or was not accurately described in our catalogue orders can be return within 7 days (pick-up date).   Please contact us first with the reason of return in advance. Items returned must be received  by registered mail, well-packed,  in the condition in which it was purchased and accompanied by a clear 'return to sender' form. If there is no clear return to sender form sender is responsible for the custom cost. Upon receipt of the item we will return payment. 
Refunds will be issued to the same account used  for payment.

Please inform us about non-delivery within the Netherlands in 4 days, within Europe within 10 days and for deliveries to other continents in 16 days. In case of non delivery investigation will follow. After the results are known either your order will be delivered or will be considered as lost. In the last case a full refund will follow.
